Appointments

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible.

Urgent Appointments

If you feel that you need urgent review by the GP please make sure that you call us as early as possible when the surgery is open.

The receptionist will take information about your condition and symptoms to relay to the duty doctor. This will enable the doctor to triage and prioritise urgent appointments or direct you to the correct service.

How to request routine GP appointments

To request an appointment:

  • request an appointment online via econsult Monday to Friday. We will respond within the next few days during opening hours
  • phone us Monday to Friday during opening hours. For routine appointments please call after 12pm.
  • book an appointment using the GP online system via NHS App
  • Our diary for routine GP appointments is open up to 2 weeks ahead. If the appointments are all full for the next 2 weeks you may need to call on another day.
  • evening or weekend appointments are available at the Andover GP Access Hub on request by calling the surgery.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Appointments take different lengths of time and also need to be with specific clinicians, depending on what they are for.

To make sure you are booked with the correct nurse we do not have nurse appointments online to book. This prevents any errors in booking.

We have specific appointments for medical examination. For example for employment, driving or foster medicals.
In this case please, contact our receptionists who will make a suitable appointment.
